Safari Overview
Introducing the 3-day Kibale flying safaris that will tke you to the Kibale National Park to encounter the closest cousins of man and chimpanzee that share about 98% DNA. Tracking of the chimpanzee with 1 hour viewing them in their natural habitat.
When tracking chimpanzees, travelers encounter other eye-catching attractions, including small primates like L’Host monkeys, black and white monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and many others. Other attractions include bird species, plants, and butterfly species.
On the 3 days Kibale flying safari, you will engage in the domestic scheduled flight from the Entebbe International Airport to the Kasese airstrip where you take less driving time to the Kibale National Park. You will also engage in the community engagement of Bigodi, and forest walks.

Day 1: Flight from Entebbe international airport to Kasese airstrip.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and community visit.
Day 3: Forest walk and transfer to Kasese airstrip.

Day 1: Flight from Entebbe international airport to Kasese airstrip.
On day 1 of the 3 days Kibale flying safari, you will engage in the early transfer to the Entebbe International Airport for the flight transfer to the Kasese airstrip. This airstrip is the nearest to the kibale National park which is a home to the several primate and wildlife species.
The flight to kasese airstrip will take about 2 hours. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will meet your driver guide who will spend with for the next of the days of the safaris.
The transfer to the park will take about 2 hours of the day through the Kassenda craters. Upon arrival in the park, you will transferred to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Meal plan: Lunch, dinner.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and community visit.
On this adventure day, you will wake up early and then proceed with an early morning breakfast. Later on, you will go ahead with the transfer to the park headquarters.
Upon arrival at the park headquarters, you will go ahead with the orientation about the chimpanzee trekking. In this orientation, you will be highlighted the dos and don ts about the tracking of the chimpanzee.
This orientation will be led by the ranger guides who are the head guides of activity.
Then you will go a head with the activity which will take about 2 to 6 hours of the day upon where you meet the chimpanzee. As you meet the chimpanzee , you will have 1 hour viewing the chimpanzee.
After the activity, you will be transferred to the Bigodi community where you will immerse into the local community.
While in the Bigodi community, you are recommended to purchase locally made products as a form of supporting the community. Later on you will proceed with the transfer back to the lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 3: Forest walk and transfer to Kasese airstrip.
On the last day of the safari, you will start the morning with a relaxed night and then continue with the morning forest walk in the park. In this walk you will engage in the picnic breakfast and then later on proceed with the walk.
On this walk, you will encounter several wildlife like vervet monkeys, colobus monkeys, bird species, and many others. After the forest walk, you will continue with the transfer back to the Kasese airstrip.
While at the airstrip, you will engage in the flight back to Entebbe airport.
You will meet the company representative who will transfer you to the international airport for your outbound flights.
