Detailed Itinerary
Day 1; Arrival and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by our company guide in a 4×4 tourist van then embark on an approximately 8-10 hours drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Though the drive is long trust me you will not be bored because your eyes will be occupied all the way. Your eyes will be fisting on forests, tea and banana plantations, cattle grazing, and people going their way, to mention but a few. A stopover will be made so that you can grab lunch along the way and then head straight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On reaching Bwindi, you will check-in, freshen up, have dinner, and call it a day.

Day 2; Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast, head to the park headquarters sign in have a briefing, and get professional tour guides and game rangers to lead and guide you during your trek. You will be divided into 8 groups of trekkers, trekking different gorilla families on different trekking trails. Gorilla trekking takes about 2 to 8 hours and during this trekking period, you meet a gorilla family. You will be spotting other animals like monkeys, different bird species, old trees, and different butterfly species, to mention but a few.
In case you packed your lunch, sometime break will be given to you by your guide to have lunch and then proceed later. When you meet with a gorilla family, not more than an hour will be given to you to be in the presence of these gentle giants. Also, gorilla habituation is done in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park at an extra fee. Taking flash-less photos will be allowed to enable you to keep great memories of the 5 days Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After that, you will head back to the starting point of the trail with the help of your guide and rangers. If you have not packed lunch, you will be picked up by your driver guide and taken back to your lodge for lunch. Proceeding from there you will relax a bit and later embark on an afternoon nature walk to mix with nature once more. You will be spotting different things which include some wild animals, birds, tree species, and insects, to mention but a few. Later on, you will return to your lodge, freshen up, have dinner, and call it a day.

Day 3; Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will wake up in the morning for breakfast, check out of Bwindi, and head for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Which is not far from Bwindi, and along the way your eyes will be delighted with different things which include forests, grasslands, cattle grazing, and people doing different activities, to mention but a few. On reaching, you will go ahead and check in with the park and later with accommodation facilities.
You will have lunch relax a little and head out for an afternoon game drive, during this drive expect to see animals such as Uganda kobs, antelopes, hyenas, elephants, and different bird species to mention but a few. Taking photos will be accepted so that you store these memories for a lifetime. After about 2-3 hours of spotting different wild animals, you will return to your lodge, have dinner, and rest up.

Day 4; Game drive to see tree-climbing lions and boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
Wake up in the morning for breakfast and get ready for pick up. You will be picked up with a 4x4WD tour van. And head for another game drive in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will be able to see the amazing tree-climbing lions taking their time to rest up on tree branches. Science has it that the reason why these lions climb up trees is because they are running away from low grounds to avoid being bitten by Tsetse flies found in this sector. Also, they are believed to climb trees to get a better spotting view of their prey.
You will view these lions from a safe distance and taking flash-less photos will be allowed. After about 2-3 hours, you will return to your lodge and have lunch. After a while head on an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. The afternoon is the best time of the day to embark on a boat cruise. Most of the wild animals can easily be spotted along Kazinga Channel drinking water. You will be able to cruise and spot animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and antelopes, to mention but a few. After about 2-3 hours, you will head back to your lodge and have dinner then call it a day.

Day 5; Transfer back to Entebbe for departure and stop over at the Equator
Wake up in the morning and the morning for breakfast, check out, and embark on the journey back to Entebbe International Airport for departure. It will take about 5 to 7 hours for you to reach Entebbe along the way your eyes will be occupied by different things. These include people digging, cattle grazing, tea and banana plantations, forests, cattle grazing, and some hills, to mention but a few.
A stopover at the Equator will be made so that you have the experience of standing in two atmospheres at the same time. You will be given some time to take photos and visit nearby craft shops. From there you will continue with your journey to Entebbe for departure, lunch will be got along the way. This will mark the end of your 5 days Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari.
