Day of Chimpanzee Acclimatization Experience

The Chimpanzee Habitude Experience begins as early as 6:00 am each day. As a result, you must get up early, eat breakfast early, and pack a lunch. Your chimpanzee journey starts when you leave before sunrise to meet your guide.

Between 6:00 and 6:30 am, you will get the chance to witness the chimpanzees emerging from their nighttime nests to feed, mate, hunt, nurse, relax, patrol, and show off.

When is best to experience chimpanzee habituation?

Although there is no better time to become accustomed to the surroundings, it is most convenient in March, April, May, and November when there are fewer tourists around.

Experience of Gorilla Habituation

What exactly is the gorilla habituation experience, you might be wondering. The goal of the approach is to acclimate wild gorillas to human presence through training before releasing them for trekking. The process of training gorillas is a regular undertaking that takes two to three years before a family of gorillas is made available for trekking.
